Silent Lights was a public art light installation located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn from 2013 - 2015. Situated under the BQE, at the corner of Park and Navy, it transformed environmental noise into wave-like animations of multicolored light. I worked with Urban Matter to create this installation that transformed a bleak urban landscape into something wondrous, beautiful and enjoyable for locals and passersby. I served as creative and technical advisor on the project, specifically designing the light animations, and working with Dave Rife of Dave and Gabe to develop the sound interaction.
